We know a lot of our Dubai youth work out but we thought you may like to try something new! There are hundred’s of sports to try out in Dubai so we thought we’d take a look at a few that we thought came within the spectrum of youth activities.
Introduce yourself to the wonderful sport of polo at the Dubai Polo Academy. They offer a fun filled hour and a half intro that gives a real insight into this popular sport. The good news is that you don’t have to be an experienced rider; the instructors encourage non-riders also and are on hand to make sure you enjoy it. We think this is one of the best value youth activities in Dubai at only Dhs 750. Located in the Dubai Polo and Equestrian Club. Call 050 887 9847.
Team games are always fun so we chose a couple of mixed leagues you can join!
Dubai has a great softball league called the Sandlot V. This is a great sport for team building, using your tactical brain power and also a good networking opportunity. Join them now if you fancy a bat and ball work out as they are recruiting until December 19th. The cost is 180Dhs per person or 650Dhs for a team. Located in the Metropolitan Hotel at Duplays Sport, 7pm until 10.30pm. Call 055 224 0187 or just head down there and check it out.
Volley Ball is another great team game involving energy and skill. Volley ball is also one of those youth activities that has a fun aspect and also a soft landing. This league is also open to young men and women from our Dubai youth communities. You can join for 250Dhs on your own or if you can get a team together it’s 1,800Dhs. The location is at Le Meridian, Mina Seyahi, at Dubai Marina, also organised by Duplays. Call 055 224 0187.
For something a bit different why not try your hand at fencing! The MK Fencing Academy offers personal sessions for just 60Dhs for beginners and 50Dhs for experienced fencers. The Academy is at Jumeirah and it’s open from Saturday to Thursday from 4.30pm. Call 050 794 4190. If you have had a bad day at the office or frustrated with your studies then this is one of those youth activities to really use your mind and release some of that built up frustration! Think Zorro!
Our Dubai youth community can get fit, learn self defence and karma at the Dubai Karate Centre. They have every form of martial arts youth activities for you to try from Karate through to Taekwondo. This is a well established school so you will learn from the best in Dubai. There is a membership fee of 100Dhs and monthly packages are available from 380Dhs. Based in Jumeirah at the Al Raizi Boys School. Call 04 344 7797.
These youth activities will keep your body fit but also your mind strong. So take your mind away from your studies or your new career and either try a team game or something a bit more personally challenging. At Youth to Marketing Agency we are always focused on you, our Dubai youth community.
