Top 6 concerts in Dubai – September, October, and November 2012

In the last few years, the city of Dubai has been a popular destination for international artists. Various performers such as David Guetta, Russell Peters, Evanescence, and Pitbull have made tours to Dubai and have attracted thousands of music-lovers in attendance.

And so, we bring you a list of the most exciting concerts scheduled for the next three months:

 1) Lil’ Jon Summer Crunk: Thursday 13 September 2012, Atlantis Hotel, Dubai

 Grammy-award winning rapper Lil Jon brings “Crunk” to Dubai! He will be performing all his hits live at Nasimi Pool at The Atlantis Hotel, along with DJs such as Teddy Jam and Ray playing their upbeat and energetic sets. Tickets are priced at AED 200 and are available for purchase online.

 2) Sandance Music Festival : Friday 12 October 2012, Atlantis Hotel, Dubai

The Sandance Music Festival is back for a new season, and their line up has finally been revealed! This year, Example and The Fray will be performing for Dubai’s award-winning five star music festival, along with various DJ’s such as DJ Fresh and Chuckie, who have also been roped in for this funky event.

UK Singer and rapper Example returns to Sandance once again, after wowing Dubai last year at the same festival. US piano rock band The Fray, known for their single “How To Save A Life” will also make an appearance.

 Throughout the concert, there will be full bar facilities, waiter service, and live cooking stations provided. Ticket prices range from AED 225 to AED 450.

 2) 50 Cent: Friday 19 October 2012, Meydan Racecourse

US rapper and hip hop star 50 Cent is all set to perform in Dubai this coming October. Known for his famous song “In da club”, the artist will be performing in the Atelier Festival along with his G-UNIT crew.

As the event is open to all ages, the organizers of this event are expecting a whopping 20,000 people in attendance to watch 50 Cent perform to his famous tracks, including his new release “New Day”. Tickets will be available online soon.

 3) Enrique Iglesias: Friday 26 October 2012, Dubai World Trade Center

Grammy award winner and Spanish heartthrob Enrique Iglesias will be performing in Dubai this October at the Dubai World Trade Center. Also known to be the largest indoor concert in the Middle East, this event invites music lovers of all ages to enjoy a night full of Enrique’s greatest hits. Tickets are priced at AED 295 (Silver), AED 550 (Gold), and AED 995 (Platinum) respectively.

 4) JLo – Dance Again World Tour: Thursday 22 November 2012, Dubai Media City Amphitheatre

 Singer, actress, producer, and entrepreneur Jennifer Lopez brings her Dance Again World Tour to Dubai this November.  This event also marks her first live show held in the Middle East!

Since her debut in 1999, she has sold over 55 million records worldwide, and has starred in multiple box office successes. In the last couple of years, her releases “On the floor” and “Dance again” received immense appreciation and various accolades from fans and critics all over the world.

 Tickets are on sale online, and are priced from AED 295 to AED 1495.

 5) Gotye: Friday 23 November 2012, Dubai World Trade Center

The Belgian-Australian singing sensation Gotye also marks his debut in Dubai this November. Known for this year’s best-selling single “Somebody That I Used To Know”, Gotye is thrilled to be performing in Dubai for the first time, at the Dubai World Trade Center. He will be performing his hit single “Somebody That I Used To Know”, which not only topped the charts in 18 countries, but was also watched on YouTube 250 million times.

 Tickets are available for purchase online, and range from AED 350 to AED 750.
