The London College of Fashion Returns in Dubai
Do you have a passion for Fashion but do not have any idea on how to express it? Did you ever wish to walk in the streets in your most sartorial outfits and share them with the world like how you see your favorite fashion bloggers? Did you ever dream about being in a fashion-driven city to pursue your interest in Fashion and experience what it’s really like to be part of this dynamic world with big names in the industry?
Already on its third year, the London College of Fashion is back again to share their rich years of experience and expertise by offering their short courses to the fashion enthusiasts of the Middle East.
Starting out in 2010, the best of the best among their mentors took part in this once-in-a-year opportunity. Big names like Richard Sorger, designer to stars like Jennifer Lopez, world-renowned best-selling author of ‘How to Set Up & Run a Fashion Label’, Toby Meadows and celebrity make-up artist Lucy Wearing are said to be participating. The curriculum is similar to the ones they offer in their main campus in London that caters to the ever-changing world of fashion.
This time around, the short courses program will be held at the Burjuman Arjaan by Rotana from October 11-23, 2012. Courses like basics of Fashion Design, Fibers and Fabrics, Luxury Fashion Brand Management, Fashion Buying & Merchandising, Principles of Fashion Styling, Make Up, and How to Start Your Own Label among others will be available this season. But this year, they will also feature a specialized course for beginners who have a passion aged 18 and below.
In comparison to the previous years, LFC will now be offering short courses three times a year in the fashion capital of the UAE, Dubai, due to the demand of locals and expatriates in the country. This will give more time for development and advancement for the students who frequently enroll in the courses as well as for the beginners who will be taking the courses for the first time.
