This week I have decided to take a look at some more cool youth activities to try out from relaxing, cultural to action packed. As an advertising agency focusing on youth engagement we only pick out youth activities we know you will enjoy.
This is one of our less action packed youth activities but a nice cheap way to spend an afternoon. As the temperatures are now a little less fierce get a bunch of friends together and picnic in the Leafy Greens Residential area. Conveniently there is a superb deli close by called Choithrams who offer great tasty bites, ready made sandwiches and nibbles. Situated in the town centre at The Greens.
Get all arty and head out in town at dusk to take stunning pictures of Dubai as it begins to wind down. Our photo mad expert from our advertising agency recommends 5.30pm to capture some stunning sunset images.
Yoga Juice offer’s atmospheric classes that will help you to limber up but also chill you out. Check schedules at www.theyogajuice.com.
Get some friends together and hire an abra to capture the atmosphere on Dubai Creek where the dhows unload their trading cargo or catch of the day. It usually costs around Dhs120 for an hour but it is worth haggling. The abra station is near Bait Al Wakeel, Bur Dubai. One of our more traditional youth activities but another great way to hang out with friends.
Abu Dhabi offers lots of spa. beauty, type youth activities but we thought this was a bit different. Get dirty with your friends and head for a mud bath session at Beach Rotana, Abu Dhabi. This is a one off experience you won’t forget and your skin will feel amazing after. You can book direct on (02 697 9000).
Why not do one of Dubai’s more cultural youth activities and have a cultural night in a Bedouin Camp. This experience promises a chilled out atmosphere with a BBQ dinner included. The tours definitely don’t offer the same experience. Some guys from our advertising agency did this for a Birthday and said it was great. The cost is Dhs340 each, a bit pricy but well worth it. Pick ups can be organised from Ras Al Khaimah, just off the Emirates Road. Tel: (04 266 6020).
If it’s more action you are after then why not hire a jet ski for 3 hours and ski around the whole island. The scenery is stunning and you may catch some sea life, plus you get to see Abu Dhabi from a different angle. Hiltovia, Hilton, Abu Dhabi. Tel: (02 681 1900).
Everyone needs a break so get some friends together and take some time out side. I’ll be keeping you posted on lots more youth activities on offer in the U.A.E. so watch this space! Karim Hachani writing for Youth to Marketing,Dubai’s leading advertising agency focusing only on our youth.
