Think Big is a club dedicated to those career minded individuals who have just started out and professionals or entrepreneurs wanting to collaborate in helping others achieve their success. They state that success can sometimes depend upon those you mix with and take inspiration from. So if you want to sharpen your brain into positive action and proceed in the right direction then this group is for you! The next seminar is called ‘Move Ahead in Your Career’ and is on Thursday the 6th December at the Bur Dubai next to the metro Khaleed Bin Al Waleed exit 1 or Google them you’ll find them. Living Rooms is definitely a club for our Dubai youth gamers out there as it is the only gaming hang out of its kind. There is 5000 sq ft of pure gaming café offering up to date gaming systems with all the latest cool gadgets and games. You can hang out here with fellow gamers and feel you are at home. It is located at Festival Centre in FestivalCity. Call them on 04 232 5444. This promises a unique gaming session, you will be back for more I promise!
If any of our Dubai youth sector fancy your shot at acting then the Dubai Drama Group is the perfect way to start. This group encourage young people to come together because of their love of theatre and to express themselves in a different way out of the work place or studies. They do regular productions throughout the year and also organise social meet ups monthly. The fee to join is only Dhs100. Check them out at www.dubaidramagroup.com
The Dubai Musicians Lounge invites all budding musicians out there in our Dubai youth communities to come along and hang out and play. It doesn’t matter what level you are at in your chosen instrument, it’s about hanging out with music lovers and socialising. You can learn a lot, buy new gear, or sell yours on! All nationalities are welcome and the more diverse the better. Their aim is to one day form a band, how cool would that be? This is also a great way to relax away from the office or college. Finally, I introduce you to the Dubai Social Club aimed at socialising for professionals and networkers of all ages but especially welcome our Dubai youth.
