Attention foodies! Paradise to look out for: DIFC

The Gate at the DIFC

To many of you, DIFC (Dubai International Financial Centre) may sound like the oddest, driest place to go for a satisfying meal. We imagine that district of Dubai to be specifically catered to the stereotypical middle-aged bankers who wear suits and come to their office every morning for their boring 9AM to 5PM jobs. Sure, I was one of those people who wrote off DIFC as a dull and number-crunched location, but boy, was I wrong!

Agreed that DIFC is Dubai’s famous financial hub providing an efficient platform to the world’s most famous business and financial institutions, but don’t underestimate this place and its offerings. Besides providing an environment that promotes economical growth, progress, and development, this area has recently become quite famous for their wide array of world-class restaurants and cafes that have been carefully picked to match the wide tastes of Dubai’s multicultural community.

We have created a list of the top 5 restaurants from DIFC that you must definitely pay a visit to!

1. Caramel Restaurant & Lounge

This Asian fusion restaurant won our hearts on the first visit itself! With an incredible Happy Hour offer and an even better menu comprising of some greatinternational signature dishes, Caramel is a super slick and fancy place to visit!

2. Gazebo

Your hunt for the most delicious Indian meal at a reasonable price ends here! Gazebo never lets us down with their wide selection of Indian dishes, including delicious biryanis and crispy rotis to die for!  A must visit for all Indian food lovers.

3. La Petite Maison

This French restaurant has been receiving rave reviews from Dubai-based food critics since the restaurant’s opening in DIFC! And we’re not surprised. La Petite Maison, originally from the UK, opened its first branch in Dubai at DIFC. Since then, there has been no looking back! Great food and celebrity spottings are the few experiences you must look forward to.

4. Royal China

DIFC’s very own Chinese affair called Royal China has been widely accredited for serving authentic Chinese food in a traditional environment. Imagine you are in China as you are served hot dumplings while being amidst red lanterns and black and white photos of Chinese landmarks.

5. Zuma

Last but not the least, we end this list with the ever-famous, uber-classy Zuma, that tops all of our lists for the best Japanese cuisine available in Dubai. Expect mouth watering, award winning Japanese food, a stylish, snobby crowd
